Pukar Disability Resource Centre

Pukar is a Disability Resource Centre helping elderly people with disabilities from the BME community. Pukar is proud of its local reputation of providing an elite support and service for disabled people. We provide excellent education and training by a variety of courses and training programmes for elderly disabled users at the Pukar Centre. As part of the continued development the following opportunities have arisen, and applications are invited from people who will assist in making a valuable contribution to the disabled students learning at the Pukar Centre.

We currently have vacancies for student support to assist in the following classes: ESOL (English), Information Technology, Sewing, Dress Making, Soft Furnishing, Holistic Living (Yoga), Cookery & Healthy Eating.

The successful applicants will be student focused, and display professionalism of working particularly with elderly disabled people from the BME community. The vacancies will also suit students wanting to develop and understanding and experience of teaching progressing towards a professional careers. We at Pukar offer comprehensive management and support to all our staff.
