Interpreter/Translator/Outreach Support Worker

We are looking to recruit an individual who can provide outreach support assistance to our Outreach Officer at Pukar. The Outreach Support worker will provide specialist assistance to disabled users and their carers at Pukar Centre. There’s a real diversity of people using the services at the Pukar centre mainly from the BME community. The right candidate should display an excellent working knowledge or interest of working within the community. You will be working very closely with the Outreach Officer at Pukar assisting with general outreach work and administration. You will also be responsible for providing a wide range of Bilingual support for adults with disabilities at the Pukar Centre. The successful candidate should be a good listener and fluent in speaking English, Gujarati, Urdu and Punjabi.
