We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Bilingual Support Worker to work as part of our team at Pukar Centre. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of Bilingual support for adults with disabilities at the Pukar Centre. The successful candidate should be a good listener and fluent in speaking English, Gujarati, Urdu and Punjabi. The candidate will need to possess a sound working knowledge of working with the community and an awareness of current practice issues.
As a Bilingual Support Worker your role will be to provide multilingual support to disabled users at the Pukar Centre. The post holder will be required to support disabled users in a variety of services such as translation, production of resources, in-class and one to one support and to set-up meetings and interpret/ communicate with other users and staff as appropriate. The sucessful candidate should also display professionalism and enthusiasm to further develop an established service. We at Pukar offer comprehensive management and support will provided.
